Monsternomicon: Mind Flayers

Potent psionic blasts. Writhing face tentacles. Purple-ish skin, slimy and cool to the touch. Extracted brains. All these things and more help define the term “mind flayer” – but what more are these aberrant creatures? What drives them? Find out within.

This monster supplement provides 5 new creatures:

• Alhoon - a mind flayer lich
• Brain Golem - a stalwart ally made entirely of discarded brains
• Elder Brain - the center of a mind flayer community
• Ulitharid - a rare and highly advanced mind flayer
• Mind Flayer Vampire - ravenous and bestial, it requires brains and blood to survive

Additionally you will find adventure seeds and a sample sept (lair) map, along with suggested random encounters.
