
The warlock is a character class that is distinct in the way it works and was a driving force in design after its experimental showing. The class has become well developed and unique, earning a character spells through some kind of agreement made with strange entities. The result is a class with a wide range of sources for power. In the first Paths to Power there are a number of thematic patrons to expand on the base list, allowing the warlock the ability to wield angelic might, nature’s gifts, or even the elements. This is a preview of Volume II which will explore additional patrons of a less common variety. Here the ancient guardians of desert secrets, the sphinxes, give you the power to question the worth of others and the ability to control the battlefield.
