Not long ago, he and his apprentices delved into fissures in the basin of a crumbling sinkhole and made a pair of discoveries: an unexpectedly large number of oozes, and ancient, almost reverent, carvings depicting them. Intrigued by these discoveries, the wizard decided to site his tower directly atop these caverns and proceeded to further excavate and explore them. Had his curiosity not outstripped his wisdom, he might have foreseen the consequences of this decision...
Tower of the Slime Wizard is intended for a 5th to 6th-level party. It features exploration, tricky combat encounters, a few puzzles, and includes:
- Stat blocks for five new monsters: the Encrusted Sludge, the Mini Ooze, the Gestalt, the Apprentice, and the Slime Wizard himself.
- A new magical item, the Ooze Vial.
- Complete and detailed maps of every level of the tower.
