Lair of the Mephit King

Lair of the Mephit King is an introductory adventure for first level characters and a great introduction to the fifth edition of Dungeons & Dragons. In the logging community of Lumber Point, a hapless wizard's apprentice has opened a portal to Elemental Chaos in her family basement and the Mephit King's minions are pouring through, wreaking havoc. Adventurers arriving on the scene will have the opportunity to rescue a child from mortal danger, venture into Elemental Chaos and defeat the Mephit King himself in order to snap the portal shut.

This adventure is ideal for a party of four to six adventurers and can be run in a single session. If you're sick of running kobolds and goblins for your introductory adventures, this is the one for you!
