It's intended for online play, but a hi-res option is included that can be printed out and used on the tabletop.

This map pack contains more than just what was originally printed and is an expansion or "add-on" to existing material.

In addition to the maps is included an expanded room descriptions for the maps which is being updated on a daily basis.

There are also additonal materials being added such as the playable character race Kasha (example here: https://www.dmsguild.com/product/270147/Kasha-a-Playable-Character-Race-for-5th-Edition-DD) As the project continues more accessories will be added on.

The set includes grid/no-grid variations! A DM Notes is included too.  There are also new updated maps that have no background to make them more printer-friendly! The dragon heist maps are sold in separate sections but can cost about $45 if bought that way, this bundle offers a 25% discount!

The maps are designed with a 5 ft. grid, which corresponds to one inch at 75dpi.)

In the wake of Sundabar's recapture at the end of the War, a young drow woman escapes to the Nether Mountains, fleeing the city that slew her parents. Through the winter winds, a duergar finds the drow girl, shivering in the snow and takes her to his secret underground compound. Now, 30 years later, people are still picking up the pieces, trying to recoup the losses from the War, while the young drow girl grows into a woman. But time does not heal all wounds. Now the duergar who captured her is her second-in-command, while she plans her revenge upon the dwarves, using the powerful arcane artifacts she's accumulated over the years.

It is time for the adventurers to delve into the depths of the compound and plunder her vault of all the riches it holds, in order to stop her crusade. But will they succeed? Find out in this epic adventure which takes you players from the urban criminal underground of Baldur's Gate, through the rebuilt dwarven citadel of Sundabar, all the way to the Nether Mountains for a heist of epic proportions. FEATURES:

  • Delve through the criminal underground. This adventure takes your players through the criminal undergrounds of Baldur's Gate and Sundabar and lets them decide which thieves' guild will eventually help them succeed in plundering the secret compound. Intrigue, loyalty and betrayal are just a few the of themes explored in this half-urban, half-wilderness adventure. Who will your players ally themselves with and make an enemy of?

  • Absolute freedom. This adventure caters to any possible playstyle. No NPC is 'essential' and there is no way to mess up the story based on the players' actions. It caters to good, evil or neutral parties, with short-reaching and long-reaching consequences for any decision made.

  • A well crafted story. When making an adventure, my two top priorities are player agency and a good story. Over 2 years in development and playtesting, this adventure delivers a solid story with many of the NPCs' backstories being intertwined. Any NPC you meet will probably have a connection with some other NPC in the story and the decisions your players make when interacting with them might affect both. While not a direct contiuation, there's also a plot hook from my previous adventure that connects to this one, giving the players who played Beneath the Surface a way to continue the story.

  • A sense of humor. The adventure has many pop-culture references, gags and funny situations, without dilluting the seriousness of the overall story. These moments of levity try to maintain the pacing of the story and try to alleviate any symptoms of possible boredom.

  • Combat is optional. There is no encounter in the story that can't be solved either diplomatically or sneaked past. The adventure treats encounters as problems your players have to solve, not as tedious dungeon crawls which have to be completed in order to progress the story. However, if your party wishes to finish the adventure leaving a trail laden with bodies, the module allows that as well!

  • An epic heist. Ever wanted to pull off a caper like Ocean's Eleven or Mission Impossible? You can do so in this adventure! But be careful; the devious traps and numerous security mechanism in the adventure's eventual heist might discourage all but the bravest of adventurers... The heist itself in chapter 5 is also modular, meaning you can use it as a standalone one-shot if you just wish to give your players an epic puzzle they need to solve.

This adventure has been a long time in the making. After numerous playtesters and some one-shots, it was tried and tested to provide a balanced experience for your players, making sure that every encounter is challenging, but not unbeatable. FEATURES:

  • From humble beginnings to epic heists. The two adventures, while not a direct continuation, can be played consecutively or individually. They will take your players from solving a mystery, which might spell doom for a small island town, all the way through an epic heist in the Nether Mountains.

  • Absolute freedom. All of my adventures are always written by giving the players maximum freedom as they play through them. There is a sandbox quality to both adventures which gives them a lot of replayability and both can easily be swapped out in their respective level tiers, if your players wanna try a different adventure instead.

  • Well-crafted stories. Both of the adventures feature a non-intrusive story. Depending on your party's commitment, they can simply complete the objectives from a pragmatic standpoint and just take their just rewards, or, they can dig deeper and uncover ancient mysteries and secrets. It all depends how deep they want to go...

  • A sense of humor. I try to give a sense of levity to all my adventures. This comes in the form of pop-culture references, funny NPCs or strange but hillarious encounters. While the module is in no way "a joke", it does include these moments in order to break the monotony of seriousness as the story progresses. While the first adventure is not rife with these moments, they do occur much more often in the second one.

  • Fierce combat. While all combat in my adventures is optional, you can use the supplement to add some spice to it. As this might make encounters more challenging, it will also make it more interesting, inflicting several new conditions to the combatants.

This is a simple redesign of the werewolf to make it more dynamic as both an enemy and ally (you know...if it comes to that). The werewolf's curse specifically has been updated to be more interesting. It is now not as simple as pass/fail. Contracting lycanthropy does not necessarily turn you into a wolf man, but it may cause you to go insane, go bezerk, or even die (and yes, even become a werewolf...if you're lucky). So...good luck. DM's should dole out levels in the class sparingly, at least at tier 2 and 3 play.

Détenteurs de pouvoirs divins et de techniques de traques, ils n'hésitent pas à dispenser la justice divine partout où ils passent. Ils rendent des comptes à l'église de leur dieu, mais rien ne peut les préparer à leur terrible mission. Les inquisiteurs voient le pire des démons, mais également des mortels. Nombre de ces agents craquent face aux horreurs qu'ils ont vu, d'autre encore abandonnent leur humanité, et commentent des horreurs comparables à celles de leurs ennemis. Beaucoup ont perdu la foi et se battent pour le moindre mal, plutot que le bien commun.

La classe d'inquisiteur représente des agents envoyés par une authorité supérieure, quelque chose bien plus ancien qu'une monarchie, parfois un pays. Ils sont capables d'appeler la colère des dieux sous la forme de jugements frappant leurs ennemis ou de flammes divines entourant leurs armes.
Chaque inquisiteur a accès à 14 jugements qu'il peut prononcer pour renforcer ses attaques contre un unique ennemi, chaque archétype donnant accès à un jugement unique à sa confrérie.
Ce document contient 3 archétypes représentant différentes philosophies de combat pour les inquisiteurs. Le répurgateur est un puissant combattant, n'hésitant pas à se jeter dans la mélée. A l'opposé se trouve le juge, capable de commander ses alliés à la victoire. Le dernier est le maître chien qui, s'il est un combattant médiocre, est toujours bien entouré.

Je sais qu'il y a déjà 2 classes d'inquisiteurs sur le site, mais je ne m'en suis rendu compte environ une heure avant de mettre en place cette version. Elle est principalement inspirée de l'inquisiteur de pathfinder (jeu auquel je n'ai jamais joué je précise). 
J'attends des retours avec impatience.

A dream.  You find yourself sitting at a long table in a tavern surrounded by several others; all eating, drinking and seemingly having a good time. In front of you, just beyond your plate of food, is a clay model of a dungeon, complete with miniature figures of heroes and monsters. At the table's head is a dwarf; half hidden behind a book sat upright before him. He looks to you and says "Another hit with your mace...another Troglydyte falls. What do you do?". 

This is my second module after re-entering the world of D&D.  I tried to make it shorter than my last sprawling attempt.  It is so hard not to stuff a story with too much detail, but I am now understanding how important it is to trust the imaginations of those who share this common interest. This is still too verbose, but I'm getting closer to what I want them to be. 

Enjoy...and thanks for being the wonderful, adventurous, creative community you are. In a world where distraction is all around us and so freely available, be proud of your desire to work at it a little bit...and inject your own flavor.

I recommend this adventure for 4 or more players of level 3-5.  It should be playable in one or two sessions.

The party finds a secret chamber in a cavern, which was used as a gnoll hideout years ago before being cleared out by other adventurers. The secret chamber features a shrine to the demon lord Yeenoghu. If a PC puts their blood in the bowl of the shrine, they will slowly begin to transform into a gnoll.

This quick side quest can be dropped in any adventure, and can be used at any level. The first section should be used in an underground setting, but can be adapted to be used in a dungeon or other appropriate setting. The consequences of that encounter will develop slowly over the following days/weeks/months.

The file includes:

  • gnoll racial traits
  • flavor text to describe the afflicted PC's transformation
  • descriptions of dreams that haunt the afflicted PC
  • rules for removing the curse
  • 3 plot hooks to further the adventure
